Also, supply shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the bathrooms. -Guests are responsible for providing anything they need beyond the starter amounts provided. Welcome to our Cozy Cottage! Park your car, and bike or walk everywhere. Located 1 mile from the beach and boardwalk, or a short drive to outlet shopping, restaurants and bars, our home has everything you need to enjoy your stay. We've included all bed and bath linens, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, a fully equipped kitchen, and beach accessories including towels, umbrellas, a wagon, a tote, and games. We also supply some paper towels and garbage bags for you to get started with on your stay. Hop on a bike! - we have two beach cruisers with 2 adult helmets and a lock to use to explore the Rehoboth and Dewey areas. Ride to the beach instead of fighting the traffic. Also, remember to explore the many parks and trails in the area. Our favorite thing to do is jumping in the private outdoor shower(open seasonally) after a long hot day in the sun. We hope you enjoy our lovely, friendly, centrally-located residential neighborhood as much as we do. This cozy cottage has a queen bed in the master and a twin bunk bed in the 2nd bedroom with a pull out trundle twin bed. Plenty of relaxation spots in the living room, sunroom/eating nook area, or in the 2 Adirondack chairs on the front deck. -TVs located in living room and in 2nd bedroom - which have cable and streaming services to sign in to watch Netflix, Hulu, etc. -The enclosed patio has a fan and lighting, but no AC. *Note - only 1 parking spot - No trucks or oversized vehicles! If you have a truck or big SUV, you will have to park on the street. You may park on Daisey Road, a residential side street a few 100 feet away, for free. *NOTE: The property is not pet friendly, but the owner's dogs are occasionally present when owner is there. Guests with severe allergies should keep this in mind when booking. Guest have access to the whole cottage along with the outdoor shower, electric grill, and 2 beach cruiser bikes with helmets and locks. -There is a washer and dryer in the unit for your use. Our cottage is located steps from Thompson Island State Park on a quiet tree lined street with other cottages like it as well as luxury beach homes. We are steps from the Thompson Island trail. *Note - only 1 parking spot - No trucks or oversized vehicles in spot! (Street parking allowed - You may park across the street on Daisey Lane for free) *Please note - there will be an extra cleaning fee if your stay is 14 days or longer. *As of July 1, 2022, retailers in the State of Delaware no longer provide a plastic carryout bags made from film at checkout. Our 2 bedroom cozy cottage, which was the home of a fisherman in Dewey Beach back in the mid 1900s, is the perfect vacation get-away for a small family or group of four centrally located off of the Forgotten Mile in Rehoboth Beach. Just a 0.9 mile walk or drive to Rehoboth Beach & Boardwalk, 1 mile to Dewey Beach, and 2.9 miles to the Towers Beach in the beautiful Delaware Seashore State Park.
